HVAC Electrical Technician – Commissioning

We're seeking a skilled HVAC Electrical Technician – Commissioning to join our client's team in Tillsonburg. The successful candidate must have a 313A or 313D Certificate. Would also consider a licensed Electrician with HVAC experience. Newly ticketed individuals are encouraged to apply.
 
What We Offer:

  • Salary: $80,000/yr + yearly reviews and wage increases.
  • Job Type/Shift: Full-time, permanent – dayshift (Done at 11 am on Fridays) 
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision, extended health care plan, life Insurance, and disability Insurance. 
  • Uniform tops provided
  • Overtime after 44 hrs
 
What You'll Do:

  • Perform operational testing of various models including heat pumps, hot gas reheat, hydronic heating and cooling systems.
  • Work with a range of products and voltages from 120 volts – 600 volts.
  • Troubleshoot equipment for defective components.
  • Test control systems and control software.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings or other specifications.
  • Perform visual quality checks to confirm final finish meets expectations. 
 
What We're Looking For:

  • Must hold a 313A or 313D Certificate or 309A with HVAC experience.
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience is preferred.
  • Wiring of electrical components.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and tape measurement.
  • Punctual with good attendance record.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Good team player.
