We're seeking OS&D Coordinators for our client's team in the Mississauga area. 
 
What We Offer:
  • Location: Mississauga, L5S 1Y2 ON   
  • Pay rate: $ 23/hr.- $25/hr.
  • Shifts: Days – Monday to Friday – 7 AM- 3:30 PM
  • Start Date – ASAP on an ongoing basis.
  • Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Resolve OS&D (Over, Short or Damaged Freight) within applicable terminal operation. 
  • Trace shipments as requested by customers through computer system documentation review. 
  • Take appointments for deliveries.
  • Provide information on whereabouts of goods, manifesting for linehaul.
  • Create a ticket tracker and follow-up with drivers for required information.
  • Follow-up on tickets daily until they are closed.
  • Perform customer service functions and settle problems and inquiries.
  • Fulfill document requests and adjust/rebill as required.
  • Inspect OS&D area twice per day and maintain in a neat and organized fashion.
  • Maintain two sections – refusals and OWB (freight that has no identification).
  • Maintain a daily dock inventory spreadsheet for visibility and management of volume of claims.
 
What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum 2 years' OS&D operations experience or relevant experience in the transportation industry.
  • Must have experience using a counterbalance forklift.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite and Excel Pivot Tables.
  • Must have worked in a high-paced and high transactional environment.
  • Must have a clean criminal background. 
  • Experience with TruckMate is an asset.
