We're seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our client's manufacturing team in Winnipeg.

- Salary: $19/hr
- Job Type/Shift: Full time, Monday – Friday from 8am-4pm
What You'll Do:
- Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them, and distributing packages and letters within the company.
- Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them.
- Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments.
- Update the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory.
- Receive incoming orders and verify contents against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Pick and prepare outgoing orders based on detailed specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Package and ship orders domestically and internationally, adhering to shipping regulations and company standards.
- Maintain organized records of shipments and receipts, including tracking information and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., production, inventory, customer service) to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or issues to management.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks, barcode scanners).
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a clothing manufacturing or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of shipping procedures, including international logistics and customs documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret order specifications and packing instructions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and shipping software.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in logistics or warehousing is a plus.
